It’s the same on iPadOS — though curiously, I only see this behavior on my X1 Carbon. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence… or maybe it’s the printer’s gentle way of hinting it’s time for retirement?
Same for me thought my new p1s printer was bricked been great for a week then this am mqtt no matter what I did, then saw app updated at one in the morning.
I recently purchased my P1S and used OctoPod with my old printer before. This entire MQTT validation nonsense is really a pain! Any explanation or valid reason for it other than „protecting“ your printer from 3rd party software?
it seems that you don‘t understand the impact neither the security really necessary to make it user friendly!
I am getting this problem with the latest version of Bambu Handy, the latest Bambu Studio and the Latest firmware on the X1C.
Basically the X1C is only printing if you interact with the panel on the front of the printer now. I have tried downgrading the firmware by a couple of version and then I get other problems.
On the other hand both of my P1S printers are fine and working on a slightly older firmware revision.
Is there any value in trying the beta version of bambu studio to see if it fixes the issues?
I have the same issues after power cycling, checking app versions, and re-binsing. Bambu Studio is throwing errors when trying to print telling me it can’t resolve a domain name, and I’m getting MQTT errors on Bambu Handy on android. The only way I got a print was to tell Bambu Studio to save the file to local storage, send it, then start the print from the control panel.
Update hit the iOS app stores (updated from the german app store couple of min ago), issue seems to be resolved.
You may need to manually refresh the Appstore for updates, as automatic updates usually take longer to be distributed.
