MQTT Verification Failed

I get this notification of an error message on both studio and handy, since today.

When I looked it up however, the only documentation I can find on it is for the X1 series… I have a P1 printer.
And when I check to update my network plugin or studio or handy or even printer firmware, nothing, no updates.

When I print it randomly shows up, it would randomly dissapear ater im done printing.

How do I get rid of this?

I have the same issue and it’s quite annoying. It seems to prevent randomly the camera feed to load.

Printer and Handy app are at the latest versions, checked it twice.

Same issue here and it says that there can only be two open connections to camera despite only having one :joy:

We apologize for this issue.

The error might show because of the lastest Handy app update. Our team has already identified the problem and pushed a fix.

Currently, we are waiting for the apps to be approved by the platforms, so they can be available to install. Usually, this takes a few days.

Does the issue also occur in Bambu Studio?

Or maaaaybe a better way to deal with the issue would be to remove “authorization and authentication” of commands from the firmware and rely on trusted protocols and firmware checks for actual sane values in gcode? If someone would send malicious gcode to the printer that’s signed with bambu connect it’d still be malicious but signed

Currently not getting it in Studio anymore, though ill need to see if it shows up again when I start my next print.
Ill wait for the app store update.

*Edit, only happening on Handy, studio doesnt have this error message show up anymore.

The update is live on iOS and Android should also become available shortly.

Thank you, which version number has the fixed app version?

Yes…requires a printer shutdown and then a restart with fingers crossed.

3.4.2

I get this all the time on my Handy app only. I have the latest version of the app and am unable to view my camera often.

I am running 3.4.2 and still getting this error…

I still get the error and now can’t send files to print via bambu studio (mac app) (it could never find the printer locally, so i have to rely on the cloud send which is the current issue). My bambu handy app (iOS) still lets me send prints, but the error still keeps showing. Bambu studio mac ver 2.1.1.52 (allegedly the latest) and bambu handy iOS ver 3.4.2

As of today,Aug17,2025. They have finally posted the new update. Doesn’t follow the last version numbering though. It’s Ver. 3.5.
