Why is it necessary to print the box in the corner on every multi-colour print?’
I printed a pair of ear rings and it spent more filament on the corner box than on the ear rings.
It is the prime tower needed to prime the nozzle after a color change. You can change its size and volume in “Other” → “Prime Tower” while also using the Flush options just below it to reduce waste. However, too little a priming path can lead to color bleed on your model.
