When I use 2 or more filaments on a job, an extra ‘box’ is printed as each filament is changed.
On the latest update there is now an outside layer also being printed making it look like a shield.
Apart from the fact it is very hard to remove due to the sloping side, is there any way to stop this ‘box’ being printed?
Any suggestion welcomed.
It’s needed because after you switch filaments the flow is irregular so the box (called a purge tower) is needed to even out the flow otherwise your prints will look bad.
