Looking for help / to figure out something I assume I’m missing.
When I go open this model in Bambu Studio and sync my AMS, I can see the prime tower in my Prepare view, showing that it’ll use 2 filaments, even though the model only looks to be one color.
When I go into the object settings, for the 2 files on Plate 1, it only shows the black filament I’ve selected, not the blue.
Then when I slice and look at the preview, it shows it’ll use the filament in my second AMS slot:
I assume I’m missing something obvious… how can I configure what filament will be used for what shows up blue once sliced? I suppose I could paint by height, but is there any way to do this “right” or a way I can expose all the filaments that will be used in the object menu?
Then slice again and you have a mono-colour print.
If you want to change rather than remove the different colors, the simplest way is just to change the allocation of the AMS filament to the Filament number. Click the filament slot you want to change the color for, then select a different AMS loaded filament.
