Multicolor print without AMS with v2 bambu studio

I’m trying to do multicolor print without AMS in v2 the same way I’ve done it in v1 by adding pause at a certain layer and change filament. This worked fine in the previous version of Bambu studio. Now, the software throws me an error when sending for print, the filament showing a red exclamation mark.
I’m not 100% sure that’s because of the multi-color print as also in a previous single color print with TPU I had the same red exclamation mark and had to go to the ‘device’ tab and change filament by clicking of the extruder (EXT) symbol, something I never had to do in v1. Is something not configured correctly? I just updated from v1 to v2.

same here. I have AMS but I was using “print pause” for multimaterial print with TPU and PETG using external spools. Previous bambustudio version allowed for multiple external spools, new version restric it to one, so there is an error and it does not allow to send task to printer.

I was using old bambustudio, but when I switched to new printer firmware they were not compatible anymore (printer was frozen on heatbed preheating and did not start printing), so I had to update bambu studio also and now I cannot print my old projects.

Thanks for the feedback, I thought I’m doing something wrong. This ‘print pause’ and manual filament swap was neat. I’m thinking I’ll keep the old version of Bambustudio on one laptop, hope it’ll still be compatible.
I noticed that you can trick it by just adding a print pause and not change filament in the software. This works if you use the same kind but different color. I just do multiple rounds of filament flushes when loading the second color (several ‘retry’ until I see color change).
