v2 qr.3mf (303,4 KB)
Im trying to print this in such a way that i get the text colored and the qr colored with the part in the middle staying white. If I set the middle part to white and then merge everything and order it, i get the desired result, but in the middle there are pointless color swaps that waste time and filament. So i set the part to black and colored the outside faces white, which solved that problem, but now the text and qr which are on the same level as the cylider’s face are hidden. How can you solve?
In your CAD program, break the model up in to separate pieces based on the colors you want to assign to the pieces. Don’t reposition anything, so all the pieces are still aligned. Save the pieces individually. Then, in Studio, load all the pieces at once and say “yes” to the prompt about making them all a single object. Once loaded in to Studio, you will be able to assign different filaments to different components of the object and you won’t get any of those annoying “bleed through” color splotches that happen when you try and paint an object instead.
