Multiple accounts on printer

+4 here. Need that also to use the Printer with all People in Family.

+1000 for this feature. My wife and I often print different things, but we ended up using my account for everything because switching accounts on the printer is such a hassle. It’s baffling that the printer doesn’t support multiple accounts and tracking of who prints what. This seems like it should be a standard feature.

+1, I was under the impression that this feature was widely adopted, but seeing this extensive list is rather disheartening.

Not having this makes it very inconvenient for a family is use.
We are getting tired of having to log in and out every time one of us wants to print something.
Don’t know how this is not resolved after so many requests and time.

Could also just do single use share links so to mitigate the security risk.

Or have a notification sent to the owner to approve every single time the shared account logs in.

Lots of ways to do this.

Seriously, how is this not a thing?!? We all have to pass around SD cards in engineering to make our prototypes. Cura has a WAY better system in place to allow multiple accounts to access the same printer. Even a printer que on the web portal to be able to see who has prints scheduled before you. Only thing you have to do is remove your finished print, tap a button that that bed is clear, and the next print begins. Really a great system! PLEASE GIVE US THIS!!!

I can’t believe there are so many posts requesting this over the past 3 years and it still isn’t implemented.

Could we not use some other manufaturers’ software, I know there is Raisecloud which allows multiple users and printers to be used but I don’t know if you can use it to control Bambu printers. I think it’s free but there is this program, I’ve only looked at it briefly as I only have 1 printer ATM.

I don’t see the point of this, why don’t multiple people just use the same account?

Agree, it is a crazy constraint, and unexpected since 2d printers just work on the network. Only way out is to create a seperate email identity (eg myBambu@gmail) then create an account using that fake id that everyone shares. Why?

I’ve looked at other topics but they dont seem to have a resolve,or at least an official answer by Bambulab, so my request would be to have the ability to share a printer with AT THE VERY LEAST another user.
Just got an A1 mini for my kids, registered it to my account, made an account for them but it seems you cant share the printer across multiple accounts. was this a conscious decision or just an overlooked feature by BambuLab.
the problem is much larger as other users have pointed out - printers in labs, workspaces that are shared by multiple people.

Yes agree its a pain, crazy design decision. See One Printer with more than one User - #2 by mmontminy
