Multiple poops with high flush volume please

Thanks, thats where it goes. I was talking about the code from AMT_MW. Where can I download that?

Thanks a lot. “Raw Model Files” did somehow not appeal to me

These suggested setting will work great for 0.4 mm nozzles and above but purging with a 0.2mm nozzle is particularly problematic. Even at low purge volumes it tends to create a perfectly straight column of material that quickly reaches the nozzle and then you just get a big blob building up on the tip you end up getting bits burning onto the nozzle and random yellowed blobs often get carried over into the work area and stick to your print, even when using a prime tower.

If it’s possible, I’d suggest having settings specific to a 0.2 mm nozzle where purges are split into volumes of no more than 200 mm2 before a wipe.

I am seeing the same thing, as I reduce the Flushing Volumes multiplier, it gets better with a 0.2 nozzle, but does not solve the problem in all cases, sometimes a flush on a color change works fine, then the next one blobs and requires some manual intervention to make sure it completes ok…

This is on an A1, not sure if this affects all Bambu Printers the same as I assume they do not all flush filament on color changes the way the A1 does…

I am going to try one more reduction in the multiplier as I am at .45 now, and see what happens. I am printing Lithos, which seem to take about 17 filament changes per print and its not too tough to keep on eye on it…

The other thing I am NOT sure of if I reduce the multiplier more, whether I should increase the “prime volume” a little to perhaps insure that the color change is clean… It’s at 45 mm3 at the moment, go up to 50-55???

I may eventually try AMT’s code to reduce the amount of actual filament to flush and see how that goes… not quite there yet,.

I might be being blind but I cannot locate the Raw model files for this project on Makerworld

Thanks.

Saved on both a 0.2 & 0.4 profile.

Will give it a go thoroughly soon however I did a very quick test and found that although I get multipoops it appears to only work on layer 2 and above.
