Multiple print profiles

i argue that without a proper rule for resolution of proof of picture, you can post what ever photo as long as its proof of printing. i provided that and got punished… i am not at fault for other peoples eyesight. you can add 2 plus 2 right… then you can tell from the description, my cut and paste photo and the crappy photo i took… im sure you and others can put that all together… the problem is no one wants to talk about it… including you… its not right. i did what i was told and no expectation of resolution was identified. it wasn’t 480 it wasn’t 1080 but it was no where close to unrecognizable.

i did… we will see if i get a response. thank you for your advise.

I don’t think your photo is too low resolution for proof of print. I do think it needs to be the profile (first) photo though. The other image may have inspired the model, but it doesn’t represent the model in any other way.

Use your own real photo and you should be fine.

I’ve read through your posts and browsed your models, stop trying to justify rubbish quality images as they were honestly garbage. Making out you’re disadvantaged again is garbage, the phone you mentioned is more than capable to produce a reasonable quality image with very little effort.

You’re trolling now to save face. Plain and simple you need to READ the guidelines and follow them, you were not unfairly treated.

One note regarding photos: Majority of my models photos were made using quite old xiaomi which has worse camera than samsung. And some were taken in quite bad lighting. Only after getting somewhat comfortable with uploading I started using my wife’s old DSLR (which is like $300 on ebay)

I’m convinced that one can make “good” photos with any smartphone’s camera from last ~10 years, it just needs a bit of effort in terms of placing the model in appropriately lit area and making sure the model is framed properly.

All my photos are taken on my old cell phone camera too.

I just use a blank white poster board as a background and turn on all the lights in the room.

Lately, I have been placing the model on a glass top also, to get the reflection from the bottom. I saw someone else do this and thought it looked really nice, so I have been doing that since.

You live; you learn. Complaining and looking for excuses just annoys others…

How many posts/threads do you need before you accept photos like the one you posted in a different thread simply are not high enough quality to tell much of anything about the print?

Here’s the best example you posted in the other thread. It isn’t detailed enough or enough resolution. Why do you keep trying to rally support to your position? It’s just a bad photo and you have spent far more time posting than it would take to just take another photo and be done with it.
