my a1 has around 2000 hours but after 10-20 minutes of printing the e axis motor gets really hot and it smells like burning plastic also my hot end mount thingy is lightly damaged and wiggles the tiniest bit can anybody help I really don’t want to get a whole new hot end
I have no idea which acid you are referring to as there is no ‘e’ axis.

The A series printers prompt you do lubricant, hopefully you have done this when promoted.
there are four axis on the a1 xyz and e which is the EXTRUDER and everything is properly lubricated
It’s important to disambiguate other hot smells from the intentional hot thing
no heat to nozzle or bed
remove nozzle, now there is a hole below the extruder
command extruder to send lots of unmelted 1.75mm filament thru the hole (the screen will be annoying)
Still smell hot?
remove gear assembly, inspect for damage and tooth loss. replace if suspect. if this binds, that energized motor is destined to get hot, so check it.
Retest
Still smell hot?
replace extruder motor completely unless you see very repairable obvious issues (wire fraying etc)
