My A1 is not syncing with the correct nozzle size

Whenever I try to print my printer is stuck with the settings of having the 0.2mm nozzle installed. Even though I’ve installed the actual nozzle that came with the printer or even the 0.4 hardened steel nozzle, it is not recognized, and when I change it to the 0.4mm nozzle and hit Print Plate, it tells me that my printer has a 0.2mm nozzle and the print calls for a 0.4mm nozzle.

I’ve tried changing the nozzle size then hitting sync and it changes back. I’ve tried changing it and not hitting sync and I get the error message after I hit print plate.

THank you all in advanced for your responses and your help. I appreciate all of you.

Have you tried a factory reset?

“not recognized” == not a thing to expect, there’s no sensors etc that will detect it for you

You need to go in your A1’s pad to Settings → Maintenance → Nozzle and tell it what nozzle is installed. And then also run a calibration while you’re there

Oh wild; I assumed that’s what they were doing when they kept mentioning they changed it.

Please disregard my previous advice op.

Thank you everyone! I ended up factory resetting the printer. This started after the last firmware update to the printer (I would have probably found it earlier but I haven’t been printing much lately). It’s syncing correctly. I usually change it in the settings and then put on a clip to see it at a glance.
