My first time printing Bambulab PPS-CF

Its so weird looking at these off brand filaments. No TDS sheets, listing just says PPS, Pictures say TF, Reviews say it prints smooth and shiny. Hopefully NeverDie can shed some light on this when he gets it. Curious to see results of it printed and if does shatter when dropped, lol.

The Polymaker PPS-CF is impressive stuff but it does give off that ichy CF feel from the fibers. As where not all CF filaments do. I guess this depends on the the size and amount of the CF. My Bambu PAHT does not make you itch.

The other weird thing is that they went to the effort to brand themselves, at least for amazon buyers, but they didn’t even bother to get any kind of website yxpolyer.com. It’s not clear whether they even bothered getting the domain name. Yet they do have some kind of QR code, so maybe that takes you somewhere.

I noticed this as well. I try to wear gloves, but occasionally expediency wins out.

I’ve seen AvE (a youtuber who likes to take shop tools apart and comment on their construction) use a knife to scrape away at plastic to decide whether or not it’s fiber reinforced. Not exactly clear how, but maybe its by resistance or possibly even by sound.
