My rating became "fake" after a short while

Hello, I rated a profile of an arrow illusion 5 stars, and then the profile becomes a 5.0 star with 11 reviews / 5.0* (11). Shortly after, I went back to my ratings, only to see that the rating/ profile picture isn’t here. I was afraid thinking the rating got removed due to “violating community guidelines” but I didn’t have any notification then. I checked the same model, it becomes a 5.0 star but with 10 reviews / 5.0* (10) but I saw my own rating as well as 10 other reviews. Dude, MakerWorld needs an update to prevent confusion so that they don’t “fake” ratings like that. This is my first time having encountered on my own rating. :rage:

The print profile in your screenshot is one you uploaded to the model. They removed the review because you can’t rate your own profile.

MW can probably stop such rating from going in with one single line of code. The only situation that needs time to catch is when the same user rate their own profile using a different account.

That’s not true. I didn’t rate my own profile. I think it happened before I uploaded the print profile.

Btw, I updated my rating to 4 stars temporarily and it is still rated 5.0, when it is supposed to be rated 4.9. I then updated the rating back to 5 stars.

Both of these two posts can’ be true.

That is true, because I had to redownload one of my violating print profiles (not reported and/or not taken down) as I have lost my original file, and test printed one of the 10 pieces to prevent the print profile from being taken down for not having a real print image on it, by uploading a picture of my print. The rating didn’t appear in my ratings section, so what you replied is pretty fair. However, in that case, that is absolutely not true.

I actually rated the designer’s profile. Just because I said it was scaled 256% it doesn’t mean that the profile I rated is my own 256% scaled print profile. Also, I saw 11 comments when the system says it’s only 10. If you look closely at the rating, it says “Print Profile 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill” on the top of my rating, not “Print Profile PETG, 256% size, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill”. Might as well I try to delete my original rating and do a reprint but at the original 100% scaled model.

{I deleted my original rating, reprinted the model at 100% scale, and re-rated the print profile.} At first, the rating was visible in the “Ratings” section and the model page but still the system thinks it’s still 10 ratings, then when I checked it tomorrow it became 11 reviews.
