I’m on a trip out of China, and I can finally access the forum again. Here was my absolutely PAINFUL customer service that got me so annoyed part of my trip was fueled by this.
Timeline:
I didn’t really need to be having to travel every time I wanted to access Makerworld, so while regularly living in China, I tried to negotiate.

Anyway, Bambu first told me that I could now submit tickets directly to Makerworld and that they would forward it to Makerworld this time. I decided that I wanted a more direct response and also resubmitted it in Makerworld China. A while later, I got this response from Bambu(Via the website)
Anyway, I wasn’t exactly ready to lose all of my traffic I’ve gained for my models in the global site. Simply re-uploading my models in the Chinese site would NOT work, because gaining traffic is a slow process, and this model happened to be a rare one that actually picked up some legit downloads. What I was REALLY pissed about was their attitude. Before they stopped letting me access the global site at home, they gave ZERO warning. Just straight up blocked the website. I had really no chance to “transfer” my points and models at home. Also, nobody told me that transferring models and points was a thing.
But I didn’t have a lot of time to get really mad, because then the Makerworld’s direct response came.
Well THAT’S what I call good attitude. They straight up provided a solution to all of this.
Now THIS is when things get weird. Makerworld never mentioned a thing about account deletion and point transfer, and Bambu’s forwarded response never mentioned ANYTHING Makerworld responded. This mismatch is suspicious, but also kind of sad. I always thought that Makerworld was part of BBL. Until now.
I don’t know if I can keep traveling. And I demand a solution to this problem and an explanation to Bambu’s poor attitude.
I still remember in another thread I said that I never experienced issues and that I was just concerned about Bambu’s reputation and that I was a bit harsh…
But this totally changed all that. I guess they all have their reasons for doing this, but… This is over the edge.

Your second image mentions it, it says after the migration is complete your global site account will be banned and your models removed
Unfortunately we all know that chinese internet laws tend to be extremely restrictive when it comes to keeping things separated, its not called the great firewall of china for nothing, so them not giving you much notice doesn’t seem all that uncommon given where they are based
Now we can all agree it sucks and that in an ideal world you would be able to use either site, but this isn’t an ideal world
Just to add: The rules at MakerWorld China differ quite significantly in certain respects. I won’t list everything here, but here are the main differences, translated into English:
Content that leaks state secrets, endangers national security, or harms national honor and interests;
Oppose the content of the fundamental principles established by the Constitution;
Content that endangers national unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity;
Content that distorts, vilifies, blasphemes, or denies the deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs;
These rules aren’t found in the international MakerWorld regulations, and I haven’t posted all of them. This isn’t meant to be a discussion about China, but simply to provide additional information showing that the rules differ significantly.
I meant Makerworld’s direct response. I don’t think the two responses are both genuinely from Makerworld. In the first light-background response, “Makerworld team” told me that the account will be deleted. But in the dark-background response I got from Makerworld directly, there was no mention of any account deletion or points transfer. There’s also a typo in the light-background response(“Makeroworld”???), which is suspicious.
Well if you no longer have access to the account due to it being banned that would imply it was indeed MW as users have no direct power to get you banned
