Need advice or someone to help

hi, new to the forum but wondered if anyone can help.

i have an image i want to 3d print. its a friends cat for her 60th birthday. most free packages dont give the detail. meshi came out the nearest but required a subscription to download it, i only want this 1 model. it might need a touch up afterwards. modeling isnt really my area but would appreciate any help on this. or is there anyone with the facilities to do this i can contact with. i can print it no problem but need a good model initially.

many thanks

There’s a free Image to 3D Model tool available on MakerLab if you haven’t tried that one yet: MakerLab

Hi MaKim, thanks for your reply, i tried that one but the results were very poor. the cat looked like a lump with a distorted face. i tried most of whats out there on a free trial but they all seem to use a lower resolution. only meshi was good but requires a years subscription to download it.

Before you submit, use the longer version and then submit. I had the same problem, thensaw that and it worked. Hitem 3d 1.5. It is under Model where you submit.

i am also new here and i know i am not in the right place but if someone can help please. i am trying to make a team chain for my sons hight school team and have a hard time generating it in to a usable print file can some help and or send me to the right place

If you haven’t already, it’s a good idea to complete the tutorial and familiarise yourself with the forum. You should have received a message about this in your forum mailbox. Once you have done so, you can upload photos so that people can give you more specific tips.

Bambu also offers a helpful free academy that guides you through the most important questions and features:

There is also a wiki where you can look things up. It may seem overwhelming at first, but you should still save the link:

Once you’ve familiarized yourself a little and have permission to upload photos, you could start a separate thread for that.
