I am using a P1S relatively new to hobby I am wanting to print a water wheel or paddle wheel for a table top water feature that will be not only in water but will be outside in the sun and need suggestions on what kind of filament I need to use. I’ve printed with PLA and PETG but don’t think they will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Asa and Pa6-Gf have given me very good results for similar designs
I made a downspout diverters in Bambu PLA and have lasted 3 years so far in the TX sun and heat and are still in good condition.
You state you “don’t think they will be OK” but have you tried? You may want to at least try them, if you haven’t already, and see how long they last. A good experiment of anything.
ASA and PETG are good options for outside applications and are recommended. I’ve used both successfully.
