I switched from a P1S including AMS2 Pro + AMS HUB to a P2S Solo. I gave the P1S to a friend and kept the AMS2 including accessories for the P2S. According to support, this is not a problem, as I can connect the hub to the P2S and did not have to buy anything extra.
Now the P2S has arrived, I’ve unpacked it, and I can’t find a connection for the cable. Can anyone help me, as I need to print something for next week?
You need a different hub/buffer for the P2S. The cable connection to the buffer comes from inside the printer through the hole behind where the buffer is mounted on the back. The buffer is only supplied with P2S if you buy the Combo with the AMS. You need to order it separately from Bambu Store if you’ve purchased the basis printer and not the combo.
That’s what I thought too. That’s why I contacted support, because I couldn’t order the part anywhere. However, support assured me that the AMS Hub would work. Today, I received another response saying that there are no problems with the hub. I’m really confused.
What? after ordering the Ps2 my AMS-2 won’t work without ordering yet another buffer? What kind of ■■■■ is this? and it won’t ship until sometime in December? AND it will cost $30.00?
