Negative part is printing smaller than programmed dimensions

Please see the explanation image below.

I made a negative part rectangle to drop a magnet into during a print pause.

It clearly lists the dimensions of this negative rectangle as having a width of 13mm, but it is printing the negative space with a width of about 10mm.

Went back into Bambu Studio and made a new negative part with the 13mm width and put it side by side with the original. Even though the width (in this case the Z dimension) is clearly listed as 13mm for both of these separate negative parts, they are distinctly different widths. The original is about 10mm (judging by it being a bit over 10 grid squares wide), and the new one I just made is the proper 13mm.

I’m stumped, any insight much appreciated. I do see that the percentage above the Z dimension varies between #1 (the original rectangle) and #2 (the new rectangle I made for testing), but that shouldn’t matter, right? Isn’t that when I scale it manually up and down in size, the dimension in mm changes and should be accurate, shouldn’t it?

I’m stumped, insight much appreciated.

hi @Hypnoctopus ~

thats odd. I tried to replicate the issue (add a negative part with your dimensions) and save it. Then, I opened the project file and created a new negative part with the same dimensions. In my case, both the indicated and measured dimensions are the same.
Can you test it again if the issue persists? If so, please share further details on how to replicate.
