I’m trying to modify a buckle, specifically this design, in Bambu Studio so that the female part doesn’t have the interior tab. I used the negative block tool and after fiddling with the exact shape and position, found it is not removed in the print. Tried several times. Any ideas or suggestions as to what could be going wrong with what should be a simple operation?

Is the negative object in the right group? On the left side of the list? It sounds to me like it’s not in the right group. It needs to be grouped together with the object you want to modify. If necessary, select both the object and the negative object, right-click, and choose “group.”
Thanks for the quick reply! After closer examination of the printed part, I saw the tab was removed further interior - just not at the very open end where I was looking. Apparently, even though I painstakingly manipulated the size and position of the negative piece, at the open end of the buckle, the negative piece missed. My take away is that it takes a lot of experience to manipulate these pieces!
