So I got to 2 brand new A I printers with the ams . Will print the files that came with the set up fine , but my Goode is not being print correctly. If I take the same file and load It in my ps1 works great . Anybody have a clue what’s up . Thanks in advance
When you resliced the project did you select one of the A1 printers before sending it to the printer? Or transfer the file with an SDcard.
A file sliced for the PS1 isn’t going to work on an A1. You need to reslice the model for that particular printer in Bambu Studio.
Transferred with Sd card did not select A1 printer
I tried to find the selection for A 1 and could not find it
Ok I found wher to pick the printer selection and changed it see if it will print correctly now, thanks for everyone s help
Still not working also when it is bed leveling it is pushing the bed down with a lot of pressure really rough both of them are acting the same way. The nozzle actually has tore the bed on the top on both plates leveling out.
If the A1 prints the included files without issue then the problem points to your slicer.
Yes they worked great . So I guess I should try and print them again.just got them set up today. Really wondering what I have done wrong
Is it normal to scrape the plate material down to the metal
Using Bambu slicer . I must have something set wrong in it .is there a way to factory set
Now I have a a homing problem trying to print the benchy . Had zero problems with the ps1 right out of the box, I ran a Cnc machine shop for 20 years I know so there is some other issue now
Going into maintenance and recalibrate now try and fix the homing and squeaking noise
It says my image is to large . I just took a pic with my phone so I guess I need to figure out how to shrink the photo
Two tips for you.
-
In the future, edit your original post (or if further down, edit a recent one) to include all updates in one place.
-
View your photo in your library and take a screenshot. Upload the screenshot version. I had the exact issue the other day, it worked for me.

Here is what both the printers are doing the first two benches were done on both printers at the same time. Problem happen is when I used the as cards that was loaded to put the models I drew up and loaded and they were like this , so I erased everything I loaded on the files except factory models that came with the A1 printed on either printer and this is what happened I am baffled , make things worse I have a serious problem with one of the printers on calibration the machines won’t home correcty and is out of whack bad.
Remember the iPhone photos app has a crop tool. This is so you do not accidentally expose anything in the future. You didn’t this time, do not worry.
Some clarity is required.
- If you slice a model for the P1S, it can only be used on the P1S.
- If you slice a model for the A1, it can only be used on the A1.
Whilst both files are GCODE, each contains device-specific information and will not work well with each other. Damage could occur in extreme circumstances.
I recommend you try the process again whilst keeping the P1S SD card away from the A1 SD card. In an ideal world, you would have two visually different cards that are visually different to make sure they are not confused.
Is there a reason you are not using Bambu Studio to send directly to the printers?
The new multi-device options allow you to send the identical job to identical printers at the same time. You may want the same model printed on both A1 printers, you can tell Studio to send that model to both printers rather than each separately.
If you repeat the tests and you are still experiencing issues, detail the exact steps you took (write them down so you can write them up here).
- A1 slice to the A1 SD card to the A1 printer(s)
- P1S slice to the P1S SD card to the P1S printer
Have fun.
I have my cad programs all on one computer and don’t want to get a virus or an update from bobcat on my older version and they try and sell me another version. I think the one printer is shot I Dont have a clue on it . I will try and do what you told me .
Thanks a lot I appreciate it
So I just tried to run the benchy on the messed up printer and it shut down with a homing issue so I Dont no what to do.
