So, I’ve got a two weeks old printer, and yesterday I did my first print that covers a large area of the print surface and I noticed two things. It makes this kind of crackling sound, and it also sounds like it’s scraping the print. Perhaps it’s related?
I’ve done a manual bed leveling/tramming by following bambu lab instructions. I used a thin piece of paper, raised the bed until the paper was stuck, and lowered it till the paper was freely moving with only subtle scraping sounds indicating a slight touch. I did this on all three screws, and then repeated 3 times to be sure. (The first time I went back to the starting left corner, it was off because of the adjustments to the other screws, so I found it necessary).

In my mind, it really does seem like the z axis calibration is off, and that I should perhaps adjust the Z-offset in 0.01 increments?

Printer: Bambu A1 (2 weeks old)
Slicer: OrcaSlicer
Filament: Generic PLA Dried to 15% (Increased MAX Volumetric flow rate to 25 from 12 doing a flow rate calibration that resulted in ~30 MVF).
Printer settings: Increased retraction by 0.2 and retraction speed set to 35, this solved stringing issues with my filament. Also disabled z-Hop
Filament settings: Temp nozzle: 220c, Bed: 65 first 55 second.
Print settings: 0.20mm, fairly standard settings with avoid crossing walls enabled.
