I received a brand new A1 yesterday, and I am experiencing a weird sound when printing that I believe is a Y-axis issue. The sound, as I can understand, appears when the bed is around the middle position.

Of course, I lubricated the printer correctly before starting to print, even though it was new.
My initial thoughts are it’s just the nozzle rubbing on the print which does happen more than you would imagine possibly due to the print not being level ?

The bed has been leveled through a complete calibration from the system settings, and I have also enabled it to level before each print.
The print itself is flawless, but the sound can occasionally be a bit bothersome.
This is pretty much normal I think. Depending on what you’re printing the nozzle will occasionally rub on the top so I wouldn’t worry to much about it unless it starts affecting print quality.

what type of infill shape? Some will cross over itself on the same layer, creating intentional raking and nozzle contact. Grid is one of these.

is the setting “reduce infill retraction" enabled on your slices? If so, turn that off.
