I have no idea what’s going on. There was no collision for if there was it would offset the nozzle for the entire print not just the front of the build plate. Print quality was amazing. Please advise.
You’re likely relying on autocalibration. That works well for quick starts, but once you move into more complicated geometries and want perfection, it’s better to learn how to manually calibrate the filament so you can dial in the right values.
Things you can try to improve results:
- Change the filament temperature. Go up 10 degrees, then down 10 degrees, and see whether it improves or worsens the print.
- Change the wall order setting from the default of inner/outer to inner/outer/inner.
- Switch the wall generator to Arachne. This helps the nozzle reach small details.
- Increase your wall count by one or two layers to firm up the outside and support the wall order.

Note: You can ignore the mechanical issues Prusa cites, as those points are outdated for Bambu printers. Some users may suggest making mechanical adjustments first, but with Bambu printers that should be the last step. What you’ve posted can be addressed entirely through filament and slicer settings.
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this reply! I have printed this on 2 side by side carbons both using the same Ziro filament. One did print flawlessly. Ironically the printer with 8K hours was the flawless print lol The printer with 2 hours has the issues ![]()
