Just seeing if anyone has any advice. I’ve created a support ticket but it’s very slow. My new H2D has error HMS_0700-4000-0002-0001 Filament buffer position signal lost whenever I plug in my ams 2. I’ve followed the Bambu Lab wiki HMS_0700-4000-0002-0001: Filament buffer position signal lost: the cable or position sensor may be malfunctioning. | Bambu Lab Wiki and everything seems to be fine but still no luck. I already bought a replacement 6 pin cable but that didn’t fix it either. Just frustrated that my new printer can’t use the ams and their support takes like 5 days to tell me to unplug and reattach the 6 pin to see it that works.

Hardware on which end — the AMS or the printer side? It could be either, or even both.
I’ve just had a similar error due to one end of the 6 pin cable not being fully seated on the AMS
I bought a second ams 2 pro and it arrived today. It’s going really well. I just wish it didn’t take days for them to reply to my support ticket.
They are sending me a buffer and mc buffer cable, so hopefully that fixes it. Definitely seems like a fairly involved fix that I have to do on a brand new printer, but if it fixes it I won’t complain.
Just to update, replacing the buffer and mc buffer cable fixed my problem. Everything is working as it should now.
