Just upgraded to 2.5.3.61. Please, give us a way to suppress this new warning? As an experienced user I’m fully aware of the filament characteristics I’m printing. I don’t need to be harassed by this warning every time I slice a plate. Perhaps another checkbox in the filament profile next to the Shrinkage value “Suppress High-Shrinkage Warning” ? - Thank you.
I agree, it should be like save and a few others “Don’t show me this again” box is needed.
Does anybody know if Orca is this aggressive with the warning? I may have to change slicers… I’m trying to just ignore it but I see the warning every time I switch between Prepare and Preview and when I simply add an .stl to a plate… It’s really quite annoying and unnessary. I don’t need my hand held…
Please, please, please have a “Don’t show me this again” option. You can’t understand how much anger and anxiety seeing this gives me every time I use BS now. I’m not beyond begging. Please, please, please.
I am in the group that finds this really annoying, I have been printing for a while now and I got by with out that warning just fine, I think I will probably be ok with out it now. I jus took some PETG HS out of a AMS2 just so it would shut up about it.
It’s honestly so annoying
Thank you for your feedback. I will share it with the team for their consideration in the next update.
I only have that happen if it’s in the print job, not just present in the AMSs. it’s still any annoying thing to have pop up every plate you slice, etc. if using a shrinking filament.
I am happy to report that the latest hotfix suppresses this warning. I do like the warnings about the build plate compatibility. That one is very helpful. Thank you!
v02.06.00.51
Great, about to try it. Release notes include: “Removed several unnecessary prompts.”
EDIT: ya, bingo. Pop-up warning gone in 2.6.0.51. Thanks @AnthonyAnz
