New idea for the makerworld website and for bambu slicer

Hello MakerWorld Team,

My name is Gene, and I’m an active creator and user on MakerWorld. I spend a lot of time both downloading models and creating my own designs for the community.

While working with MakerWorld and printing models, I came up with an idea that I believe could work really well within the MakerWorld website and the Bambu ecosystem, especially for users working with AMS files. I’ve looked around on the site and on forums but haven’t seen this idea discussed before.

Before sharing the full concept publicly, I wanted to reach out and ask if MakerWorld accepts feature ideas or suggestions directly from creators. If this is something your team would be interested in hearing about, I’d be happy to explain the idea in more detail.

Also, I was curious if MakerWorld or Bambu Lab ever offers incentives or rewards when a community member contributes an idea that becomes useful to the platform or ecosystem. I love the Bambu printers and MakerWorld community, and contributing something meaningful would be exciting. My dream printer is the Bambu H2S, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message, and I appreciate everything you’ve built for the 3D printing community. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Gene

If your ideas are specific to the BBL ecosystem, I would be surprised if they’d be willing to pay for the idea. Unless it’s an idea that will make them more money by implementing it… It has no value that’d make it sellable to someone else or to BBL.

Send your idea to them via a ticket, or simply write it down on this forum and use the product-request tag.

They won’t reply to your inquiry here on the forum. I am sure your idea is great, but I doubt they will pay for it. As the saying goes: Ideas are a dime a dozen.
