just got a new P1S few days ago. The current setup does not have AMS, as I’m still waiting for AMS2 pro hub shipment.
After upgrading the firmware and calibrate the printer, the first print was successful. then after that every print was a failure.
I’m using PLA Basic filament from Bamboo Lab. also tried Creality PLA. on Texture plate that comes with the machine.
Initially there was no filament exuded. I unplugged the hot end and then clear the clog, then the filament would exude. but 1/2 way into the print, the print became stringing and then fail. There was no warning, no error from the printer.
I also took apart the exuder and looking for any broken pieces of plastic that might have block the gears.
Nothing work.
Temperature on the hot end seem to be fine.
Please help. I submitted a ticket to Bambu support, but no reply yet.
I’m out of idea.
My old A1 mini was trouble free from day 1. I thought this is an upgade.
It is a bummer to hear that you are having problems, I have a P1S also, it is a great machine. From the picture, it looks like both benchy start out printing correctly. Have you checked to see if your spool isn’t hanging up after it get going? Before I got a AMS, I had a similar issue, but not to the same level.
Yes, the first few layers looked fine. then the problem started in the midway. It seems like there’s a partial blockage in the exuder. The yellow exuder gear was turning fine during operation. There was no error from machine and showed successful print. I tried a couple other PLA filaments and still have the same issue.
Format the SD card. I was having trouble like this on a few prints and printing ok, but with slight splits in the print, though. Formatted it, and it’s been ok so far. I know it sounds daft. But I read it and did it, and it worked. They also said to throw the SD card away and get a good quality one. I have today but got an 8-hour printing going for a bit, and then I will put a new one in. Not sure if this is the reason. But it did work for me. Hope this helps, mate.
