New PLA plate incoming shortly

Looks like Frostbite and Supertack are not coming out anytime soon. Meanwhile I spoke to Juupine a Chinese supplier of build plates and they will have their version of Polyura plate next week. Its called GECO and pretty much identical in function to the Frostbite. Ill post a link once its available…

I hate how Juupine “advertises” - they make TONNES of fake profiles on Facebook and pretend they are real users and post pictures of prints on their ugly plates with low effort generic comments like “has anyone tried this? It’s amazing because it saves me power!”

They are in so many Facebook groups and it’s work trying to block all their fake profiles. It’s worse than all the FL Sun fake profiles.

I did find an actual genuine review which I’ll leave here for those thinking it will be good for the H2D:

Ive never tried their Geco plate but I have been buying their PEI and other various plates for years now, as well as many other bambu parts. No problems good quality, not bambu quality but very decent and one of the best on aliexpress. They are one of the more reputable dealers on there.

Ill buy whatever first polyura plate hits the market, I own the frostbite right now. Ill post my thoughts after it arrives, but my guess they will all be similar.

Ive ordered the Biqu one, still not shipped. If it is the same as that glacier build plate for the a1/x1c/p1s it’s a good one!

I have a couple of Juupine plates for my P1S. Would not buy them again. Mine have really sharp edges. I am so used to just “sliding” the bambu plate off the bed that i scratched the magnetic sheet with the plate. Totally my fault for not doing it correctly but still.

I would rather pay a little more for an original bambu plate the next time.

I also ordered a Biqu Frostbite plate and it still hasn’t shipped. Their website does say “mid-april.” I’m just hoping we don’t have any weird stuff going on with tarrifs/price increases since I already paid for the plate several weeks ago.

You mean Glacier not Frostbite right? Unfortunately Glacier is no better than PEI, Frostbite is the good one for PLA/PETG.

Would it be correct to say that their Frostbite is very similar to Bambu’s SuperTack in terms of adhesion strength?

Yes they are both polyura plates so pretty similar, geco should be the same.

Gotcha, might buy one as well then while we’re waiting for Bambu to release theirs for the H2D.

The bambu supertack seems to be hit or miss quality wise from peoples reports. Someone who owns 3 mentions 1 was good and 2 were bad. I would have more confidence in the frostbite or geco.

My 2 BIQU plates just shipped this morning. Now the long wait to see when they actually arrive…

Seems like we’re gonna get screwed. They used slow shipping. Probably gonna get hit with tariffs.

YunExpress shipping for me.

I take it back, looks like it just got to US today, so should make it through customs in time.

Yeah mine still says it’s in Hong Kong. :frowning:

I ordered mine for $29 + free shipping from an aliexpress store (not BTT) on april 20th, arrived today. I also got a generic uncoated textured PEI to use with nano polymer. I mainly got the glacier for nylon, but ill test it out with other materials. Im waiting for Frostbite version for PLA/PETG.

Ordering from Ali is definitely faster with Choice. Actually ended up ordering one for the Voron 350mm a few days after this one shipped and should be here around the same time.

Also $20 cheaper by the time you pay for shipping and coverage from BTT.

Will test out nylon shortly as its advertised thats its made for it.

My BIQU Glacier for H2D is on its way.
