New printer does not work, support not replying

I added another X1C to my farm, it completed 1 short print, the 2nd it failed half way through, it reported that it finished but no extrusion past the half way point. After that it refuses to home, hot end reads 0c, self diagnostic wont run. If I leave it for a couple hours it will randomly start homing, problem returns and it stalls before any printing occurs.

I started a ticket, support asked me to look at the tool head cable where is attaches to a daughter board in the top left of the machine, the cable is firmly seated and the status lights are lit.

Support has not replied since last week, is there something I should be aware of with Bambu corporate?

What firmware version and setup are you currently using? It’s difficult to provide any guidance without more details. Also, it’s unusual that support hasn’t responded yet—they’ve typically replied within 1–2 days whenever I’ve reached out to them.

First, try replacing or reformatting the SD card (which seems to be the source of many similar problems).

Just to clarify,

It’s an X series, so it doesn’t print from the SD card. That being said, if a SD is installed, removing it would be the first thing I would do to see if it was causing issues. However it does seem that SD card failures cause boot issues, not mid printing fails as the g code it loaded into onboard memory.

Have you tried a factory reset?
