New Question

New Question, Can you place an A1 mini on anouther 3d printer and have that printer print on the a1 mini
P.S I am the one who posted about printing outside.

Maybe but not by any way I know of. Impossible as far as I know with Bambu printers. It’s not easy to 3D print on existing objects. The print head has to miss whatever is there as it prints the new stuff and it can only get so close to existing stuff. Better to print stuff and attach it.

Yes, absolutely.

One generation only though.

Well yes, you can do anything you want no one will ever stop you from doing it, BUT there is 100.98% chance that going to destroy something on one or both of the machines.

Yet, envy is the enemy of success !!

If you are talking about an A1 mini printing another A1 mini - simulation here.

If you are talking about placing an actual A1 mini on the build plate of another printer - and then both that other printer and the A1 mini itself both printing on the A1 mini build plate (for ultra fast colour swaps for example) - then technically that is possible - but the firmware of the A1 mini is a bit of a restrictor.

I’ve done a few simulations of multiple A1 mini’s collaborating with each other - such as this - but will see what I can come up with along the lines you are talking about if I have understood you correctly.
