New studio update causing problems

Hi,

Recently i have updated bambu studio to the latest version. I have a few niggles that don’t seem to work as before,

  1. When i press the button to sync all the colours in my Ams to studio it takes a few presses before it changes to what colours are actually in the AMS. Before it did it instantly.
  2. I have a few items i print with colour changes regularly. The colour changes have always been at a certain height (layer 20 for example). I have synced all my print settings from previous version of bambu studio. Now for some reason the colour change would need to be at layer 38 even with all my settings as they were before??

Any help on these matters would greatly be appreciated!!

I think that I have the same issue with the Ams not reading the correct filament, when it happened I chalked it up to a bad rfid tag on the spool but now I’m starting to wonder

When you synch it on the Prepare? tab does it offer an over-write option? I go that route always.
On Device tab you can select the circle icon and it will twirl around and go through the RFID read process. If you have triggered the printer such that it is going to read all 4 slots, that takes a few minutes. Those motors and spools moving is a several minute process so be aware of that. Not like software where an update is measured in milliseconds.
