New to Bambu have several questions AMS and Build Plate

Ok so been playing with the H2D for about 2 weeks and couple things have come up that I don’t understand why they are happening.

One of the main reasons I got this machine was to do white lettering on the model and use interface layer for supports, so basically 3 filaments. So I have PA612 on the left nozzle and the AMS on the right. So in Bambu Studio I add the 3 filaments and assign them in the objects tab then save project. So when I open the project back up days later the filaments are listed. I assume i am supposed to sync to the printer Correct? When I do some times I get duplicate filaments in the filimate area why?

I also bought a Glacier build plate and I am trying to use it. I changed my bed temps in my filimate I am using and selected the cool plate super tack. I slice my model and send it but the printer says I am using the wrong plate for the GCODE. So what am I doing wrong?

Don’t use the sync function IMO. It’s confusing. As for the build plate, BL is very particular about QR codes and aftermarket plates. You may need to disable build plate detection inn the options menu.

So you don’t have to sync. Seems I have gotten messages telling me I had too, So what do you do when you open a save project? I assume somewhere the software needs to know where the filimate is right?

I delete the listed filament usually and re-add them. It will populate with the appropriate slot so long as you set it on the printer (if its not BL and has a RFID). It will show up as A1, A2, ect. If you save a project it will remember what filaments you were using, but not necessarily their location from what I have seen. Someone correct me where I am wrong, still new to the bambu-verse.
