Newbie Question on Parts at the Check-out

I am new to the world and have done and continue to do research in the vast world of 3d printing. While I have yet to buy one I am aiming at the P2S for several different reasons.

My question is what are the ‘wearing parts’ of the printer? what do you typically need to replace on a on going bases, does the hot end wear out or you just replace it because it plugs up from a failed print and can’t clean it out. do you need to replace belts on a regular interval. Are there parts I should be buying with the printer because in a months time I will need them any ways.
What typical is the 1st thing to wear out?

Any insight is appreciated.

Short answer. Nothing.

Nozzles easy last over 1000 hours. Belts are anywhere from 3000 to 10000 hours. Plates last about 1000 hours per side if you are not abusing them.

Just maintain it and clean it regularly.

Crazy consumer grades are this durable now. Basically like a normal printer.

Yeah. In my experience, most replacements are needed because of misuse (like a huge nozzle blob) or a random mechanical defect (which will be covered by warranty).
