I put the latest in today and sent a job to the printer.
It does successfully send the job, but BS crashes right after. Non graceful exit, just gone.
Anyone else having this problem?

never seen this issue, I am using the latest version, maybe there is some log text written before it fails? (in windows you can use procmon.exe to have an idea of what happened before it crashed, just filter by its process name)
I haven’t had that but I’ve had nothing but issues with the newest version. Upon launch it may connect to the printer after a bit, then I can send a print. After that print the slicer shows the print still going on and won’t allow me to send another unless I sign out and back on.
I’ve gone back to the previous version which works flawlessly.
I’d offer some advice but I never could figure the issue out. Uninstalled, reinstalled, always the same issue. The portable did the same. Always goes away with previous version.
I have been having the same issue with Orca slicer.
Back on it this morning with a NEW project. It is still crashing every time I send to the printer. It does successfully send, but then it’s gone. No errors, just gone.
I wonder if it’s related to the firmware on the printer. After all the scuttlebutt on the net I stopped updating the printer.

Updated firmware on 1 printer to test and sent it a job. BS did not crash. Old firmware seems to have been the problem.
sounds like the problem that I had. My problem was multi threading. See the link:
https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/bambu-studio/troubleshoot/win-crash-when-slicing
i have it intermittantly. also seems like the transfers are significantly slower.
Can’t get it to stay loaded, crashes on load connect to X1E
Have contacted support tried reload and the .70 update keeps crashing, can’t print a dam thing
Make sure you post the solution once you find it.
what is crashing the printer, or Bambu studio?
If it is BS, have you tried other computers?
what are you doing when it crashes.
had you tried reinstalling. or the extream, uninstall/reinstall.
Had you tried Orca?
I assume you looked at the above link.
Is it happening when you load BS, or a print file?
try a small (in complexity).
It is a testament that this is not a common problem.
Good luck.
It was a total crash at startup of BS
I got the previous version from GitHub that I had used installed it over top of this one (after deleting everything Bambu help told me to, with no help), had to reset print and reconnect network, but working fine now.
My bad for not keeping a backup of the previous install or I would have tried that Friday when problem arose.
I also download latest Orca and installed it so if things go wonky again I will at least be able to keep working.
Thanks for the assist
curious if you tried just reinstall. Keeping all your preferences. For me that works most of the time (3 times, in a few years). Once it needed a full uninstall. This was from a software version upgrade.
It is a good idea to have a backup version like Orca for BS. But eventually there will be a divergence in the user interface. Staying up to date on how to use is a pain.
I don’t know if this will fix everyone’s crashes but the version that came out this morning lists some fixes that sound like it might help some of them.
Sorry posted in the wrong tread.
I’m having the same problem since I upgraded to 2.3.0. My one computer with 2.3.1 don’t even send a print successfully. I notice it says it’s sending over LAN.
This has been resolved (for me anyway) by updating the firmware on the printers.
