No bridges when no bottom layers

Hello all

I’m experimenting with having no bottom layers so I can use the infill pattern as a texture, which works great most of the time, but I’m having an interesting issue.

Partway up my print, I have an area that needs to be bridged, and with at least 1 bottom layer, it bridges as normal

However, once I reduce to 0 bottom layers, it does this:

no bridge, what is interesting, is that other areas do get bridged

Is there a setting somewhere that controls this? I’ve looked but nothing obvious

ok, experimenting a little more, bottom layer at 1 and density at 10% (the minimum), gives me back the bridge in the middle of the print, but the pattern on the first layer is not exactly what I want because I want to use the infill pattern (as there are more to choose from)
