No "cameratools" Folder

As you can see on my photo some comments above, it was located at the location of the chamber cam. This was before the chamber cam was given free as gift and it wasn’t available anyway. It was a 2 part solution: The cam module was in a chassis inspired from the original chamber cam and located in the original location and the ESP32 module is located below this location, mounted on the frame. The cam module has a 120° lense with a 75 mm cable connector.

At the moment it isn’t in use. But I’m thinking of redesign and rebuilt the chassis to put it on the same location at the right side of the P1P. So I can have both active. Then I can use the chamber cam for timelapse (if Bambu Lab improves the timelapse quality) and the ESP32-Cam for live watching the print.

“ESP32-Cam was able to get 1280x720 with 15+fps” - I’m not able to get remotely close to that when I set up an esp32-cam. I’m getting about 1fps at 800x600. Now I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong.

It maybe, that you didn’t something wrong. There are some different ESP32-Cam modules available. Some clones are fake ESP32s, which work like the original but did not perform like the original one. One indicator is the PSRAM on the module. Check for “PSRAM ID read error: 0xffffffff” in logs or console output.
