In case it is in anyway related, this post points out a potential issue, that may extend beyond this single user.
It seems they only see it when they scale the windows desktop to 125%.
Does this correlate with any of you?
Could this explain your strange discrepancy, it is possible your laptop is scaled.

The computers do not scale automatically. I use two classic PCs (ASUS & NVidia) and a laptop (MSI) with the minimum requirements.
The default setting for both PCs under “Change scaling and arrangement, size of text, apps, and other elements” is 100%.
Below are three screenshots.
Image 1 (PC - Display 27" - 2560x1440)
In the system settings under “Change scaling and arrangements, size of text, apps and other elements” the resolution was set to 125% (100% is recommended).
The time is output when the print is finished. Everything is OK.
Image 2 (PC - Display 30" - 3440x1440)
In the system settings under “Change scaling and arrangements, size of text, apps and other elements” the resolution was set to 100% (100% as recommended).
Now the time is not output when the print is finished. n.o.k.
Image 3 (laptop - display 18.4" - 1920x1080)
In the system settings under “Change scaling and arrangement, size of text, apps, and other elements” the resolution was set to 125% (recommended, previously 100%).
This is where the time is now output when printing is completed. Everything is OK, except for the translation.
This is the situation for me.
The output must be error-free regardless of the display settings.
Both my monitors are set at 1920x1080.
So it seems like BS just needs to adjust their scale in an update.

I agree with you; before I had to sell my company, I commercially wrote software for governments, health systems, the finance industry and so many more, for desktops, web and mobile platforms over 31 years.
It is the simple things that are far too easy to fix that should never leave the door.

the problem is as someone mentioned above all down to sloppy coding in bambu studio ., they have not correctly set scaling for text correctly.
on mine with scaling at default 100% i get no text in the finish time . but after seeing posts above i experimented , chaning scalign to next normal option 125% made all my other programs to big on screen… but changing manualy to 102% , evertyhing else llooks ok still and and finish time is now there also
I did some more testing and this problem seems to be related to the screen resolution and the Screen Scale setting.
My PC had the Windows “recommended” Scale set to 100% and finish time would NOT display.
If I changed to any other Scale, 125%, 150%, 175%, then Finish time displays OK!
On my Laptop, the Windows “Recommended” scale is 125%, but if I change the Scale to 100%, then it will NOT display the Finish time.
So, for some reason, with the resolution of both my PC and Laptop screens, the Scale setting of 100% causes the Finish time to NOT be displayed.
Similarly, is both are set to a Scale of 125%, then both WILL display the Finish time.
I also went to github and added to an already existing bug report. Hopefully the developers will see it and get this fixed on a new release.
Pehap if others also do the same, it will add to the number of affected users so they can get it prioritized.
Well it seems you have definitely found the issue it seems to corelate with becuase the moment i change my screen scaling to 125% i get to see a finished time for the first time ever.
So, I was correct to share this then!
105% worked for me. 102% did not. 125% was huge and was a no-go for me.
@BambuLab can we get this fixed please?
idk about you, but 105% is very noticable to me on other programs, like Chrome. I hope Bambu fixes this. For now, I will just have to do math like a peasant to determine completion time.
It’s wild that with 2.0 released this still isn’t fixed.

This is an incredibly frustrating issue. Especially since it looks like folks on this thread have identified at least theoretically why the issue is occurring since the fix of scaling up to even 105% seems to work. It works for me but it is such a janky fix. @BambuLab Please get this fixed!!
I am on version 2.1.0.59 and can confirm that the issue still persists. Scaling to 105% on windows does fix the problem but this is not a real fix.
I just thought I would mention that this bug is finally fixed! I just noticed in Bambu Studio 2.2.1.60 it’s ok now! I think it was fixed in the Beta of this release, but nice to see they finally learned how to fix it.
