No Option To Set a 0.2mm Nozzle on the Printer

On the printer itself, there are only choices for 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8mm nozzles.

Seems like a bug. Unless X2D is not “meant” to print with 0.2mm?

Side question, does the selection even do anything on the printer itself? X2D does not have a camera that can scan the QR code of the nozzles, so I doubt. But why even have this menu screen in that case?

Are you referring to the nozzle choices in the slicer or on the printer itself?

On the printer itself. Come on I say it twice in the OP

0,2 option is only in the stainless steel. not hardened or tungsten.

Just confirming something. Some people select their printer in the slicer, and then talk about that as their printer.

I normally just scan the nozzles (H2D), and I guess that is not possible on the X2D, but it seems that @KekePlasteri already provided the answer.

Thank you, it’s indeed only in SS.

Although I still doubt there is any efect of setting the nozzle in the printer itself. Perhaps it will throw a warning if gcode and the selecte nozzle do not match, didnt test it.

The nozzle can ONLY be changed at the printer. If the sliced file does not match the nozzle set at the printer, the print will be blocked. The ability to change nozzles from the Studio Device tab was removed several versions ago.

So, will the X2D work with the stainless 0.2mm nozzle or is it verboten?

Works with all nozzles. The h2, p2 and x2 use same hotends.

Thanks. I was seeing some issues where the X2D did not work with the 0.2, but maybe that was wrong or recently fixed.
