I am missing a motor protection filter that appears to have been made from a non-woven fabric. So far, I haven’t been able to find a suitable print file for it.
Recently, I printed something using an external TPU spool. For reasons unknown to me, the printer processed the part using a PLA profile instead. The result was, of course, unusable - but the structure looked surprisingly similar to a non-woven fabric.
So my question to you all: Has anyone ever intentionally printed a non-woven-like fleece, or does anyone have a file or experience with accidentally producing something similar due to incorrect print settings?
Elsewhere, I got a tip from the seasoned veteran RetroSharky that there are already some enthusiasts who have figured out how to create textile-like structures using 3D printing.
