I am trying to refactor a design to fit our armoire and hold my wife’s purses. I get it first world problems but any assistance on how I can do this in Bambu studio would be greatly appreciated.
This is the design and what I am trying to edit.
I am trying to lengthen the top bar and significantly cut out the middle thus hoping to save filament and time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It will be painful to try and do this in Studio. It would be much easier in a CAD program. If you have no experience with either Studio and CAD, learn to do this in CAD and you will be developing skills that will come in handy for something else.
A program like TinkerCAD has tons of on-line self-help stuff to get you going.
Also, 3D prints aren’t as strong as an identical injection molded part would be. You don’t want to be removing plastic if you can help it, especially in areas that will be under load/stress.

Thank you for the response. Means a lot, I also think that reducing the depth will strengthen the overall design as less stress will be placed when a purse is placed on it. I feel like I need to learn the skills to build from scratch.
I will 100% look into TinkerCAD.

I actually don’t even know if it’s doable in Studio. But it’s like a minute or two of work in a CAD program. 
This is such a simple design that you could quickly throw together in CAD like others have suggested. Honestly it’s probably a great way to cut your teeth using CAD.
For this particular design, I’d honestly suggest using regular CAD software such as Fusion360, OnShape, FreeCAD, etc. Since TinkerCAD introduced the sketch tool, you can do similar-ish work, but learning on a mainstream CAD software would put you further along if you are seriously interested.
All CAD software has similar design processes where you can draw out your part and extrude/pad it out. It’s not properly dimensioned, but here’s a quick sketch and extrude I did in FreeCAD in like 30 seconds.
It’s obviously not exactly the same, but it’s sure close enough. From here, I’d just spend some time properly constraining everything with the needed dimensions, do some test prints, and adjust to fit my needs.
These are the skills you need to go from using your 3D printer as a hobby machine and relying upon others work, to being a tool in your tool belt.

@RandomKhaos - I have come to realize I need to up my foo. I will start looking at and working a bit in CAD. I retire next week, so will have some time, albeit borrowed, on my hands.
