Have a P1S with 1,000 hrs. on it. Today, filament got jammed. Took apart the AMS and cleared out any filament remaining, then had to take the nozzle off to get rid of the clog.
Put everything back together, loaded up the filament (all BBL), tried to print and it kept showing the Error that filament cannot be recognized.
It became so frustrating I just factory reset it it. Now, I cannot link it up to my account and WiFi and when I went to print a benchy from the SSD files it STILL won’t recognize that there is filament in there.
I just installed a brand new extruder in my P1S. Before installing I made sure I could feed filament through it by hand (not sure why the factory had the tension screw tightened all the way).
Now when it tries to feed it only goes in enough for the gears to grab it. The green dot doesn’t light in Bambu Studio. Trying to manually extrude it, it doesn’t go any further.
AI says the sensor is blocking the path. I loosened the screws on the sensor board and heard it snap up. Tightemed the screws. Passed filament through by hand.
Than same thing. Blocked. I hope I don’t need to open a ticket. That’s worse than the DMV.
Just replaced the sensor, put everything back together again. Turned it on and the screen says, “Ready to Print”. Looked at the AMS and…absolutely no power to it now. All plugs, tubes, wires connected.
I think it’s time to replace the entire printer after 1,000 hours on it. Not happy and checkmark AGAINST Bambu Labs.
My Mini and A1 have been the BEST models as they were the first ones I ever bought, with double the hours used and NOT ONE issue with those.
