I use an A1. Ive been using elegoo pla+ a lot lately. But its happened across various filament changes. Ive attempted to set filament settings up, not deviating too much for what their packaging would say or website says, etc. the problem of tearing up first layer or just general pood adhesion has been very frustrating.

I am having bed adhesion issues like crazy. Wondering how much of it can be related to buildplate maintenance/lack of replacement issues, vs slicer settings that change with updated firmware, or not having my setting dialed in perfectly… its an issue for a few other people i know of too where the nozzle basically tears up the printed first layer on the second pass or if it comes back near any pla already placed, it will often drag that with it. I wash it often and well. Ive tried using bambu labs liquid glue. Just would like general advice and consoling as I’m feeling very defeated. Please help!

A picture is worth a thousand words. But without that, did you dry the filament before printing?

Yes. I use a sunlu s4 filament dryer.

Ok, so how exactly did you clean your build plate before printing? Which bed plate are you using? And that picture would really help…

Oh, what filament, and what bed plate temp?
