Anyone else watch the nozzle offset calibration and notice it initially moves the nozzle past the boundary of the sensor pad. It goes way past it towards the rear of the printer like it thinks the pad is larger than it is. Only initially, after the first 4 movements or so it goes how you’d expect, on the actual sensor pad. Could have sworn I heard it slightly catch the edge too
Is this by design? I know the H2D and H2C don’t do this.
I didn’t pay attention to that during my TPU-PLA test print. In Bambu Studio, I usually set the nozzle offset calibration to “Auto” or “Off” if I’m not using the right nozzle.
I could check the live video recordings to see if it was the same for me as you described.
I would advise you to turn on the live video recording anyway, especially now that the printer is new and the firmware and settings might still have bugs.
I don’t think you’ll be able to see that far with the chamber camera. If I wasn’t looking at it directly I probably wouldn’t have noticed. I’m not sure if it does it for the pre print offset check as I have yet to do a dual nozzle print, but it definitely did for the machine calibration nozzle offset.
I used to keep video on back in the day but man does it quickly use up all the space on the usb drive lol. Maybe I’ll get a larger capacity drive.
