Nozzle Size does not match error when printing from saved files

I have a bunch of files saved on my X1C which I printed as/when needed.

I have printed them many times, but suddenly, when I try to print them I am told “The current nozzle setting does not match the slicing file”

Nothing has changed on the X1C and these are the same files as I previously printed without error… I guess the only change is the latest firmware?

Has anyone else seen this? Could it be that I have changed something on the X1C settings to say there is a different nozzle (I am using the default 0.4mm)

You might check your printer settings and make sure its set to .4 for the hotend also.

And not 0.4 high flow or 0.4 hardened, although hardened might be OK but worth a check

Printer is still set up for 0.4mm Hardened (which I believe is default)… I have never changed it… These files were sliced months ago… And used to print fine without error… So its odd, they have started now.

I am having this issue also with my X1C and they have printed just fine in the past. I haven’t changed the settings only did the firmware upgrades as needed. So is this an issue in the firmware upgrade process?

I agree… I have printed this same saved file many times and only had the error recently.

Not all files are affected so there must be more too it.

Luckily you can just ‘ignore’ the question and then print completes without issue so it’s a minor yet annoying problem.

I just had this pop up, too. <100 hrs on my H2s. After setup printed the stock benchy that ships with no issue. Printed just fine, with only minor issues, until today. Wanted to check out the spinning top that ships with the printer only to find an ‘unknown error’ on the screen. Upon cycling the printer, the nozzle type mismatch error showed up. FWIW, I updated the firmware to the current version yesterday. Couldn’t get the error to go away.

I ended up just manually selecting the nozzle type and it seems to be OK.

I plan on submitting a ticket just to be sure.

Having the exact same issues too. Same nozzle, no change. Every old print it is saying the nozzle doesn’t match. Can’t even find the section in the printer menus where you can check the nozzle anymore either? Seems to have disappeared from the maintenance section?

Also you can’t choose what type of nozzle you have in Studio anyway, only the diameter. No idea what’s going on, but it seems to be affecting print quality for me.

Also since last AMS update both mine are playing up something crazy. One is basically brand new too and it’s still intermittently bugging out. Hate this sort issue because you don’t know if it’s a them or you problem.

MINE KEEPS DOING THIS TO, and I have changed nothing except updated. Maybe that’s why my prints aren’t working. I shouldn’t have to check any settings cus I changed nothing it’s how it’s always printer. It won’t even print the tugboat without saying this!!!

If I ignore it prints with no problems EXCEPT they’d no print!
