FYI - In case someone is having the same issue. I was getting a random error while printing that there was an unusual temperature with the nozzle. I would resume the print and sometimes it would be fine, but seemed to randomly return. Finally it stopped working all together with the error.
I found one of the wires was broken in the hotend. It had some sort of heat shrink over it so I couldn’t see it, but it was indeed broken. New wire harness installed and it has been flawless since.
