My H2D isn’t even a week old. Went to print this this morning and I heard a loud noise and this part was sitting on the print bed. I saw a similar post where just the rubber bit came out.
Is this broken or does this just snap back in? Why would this happen? Is it something I did wrong? Really annoyed this happened when this is brand new and I barely even used it. I appreciate any help.
That should be held in by the 2 screws (BT3x8 Screws) accessible from your “poop” chute. Strange, unless they missed the screws. Assuming its not damaged, follow this wiki to reinstall it. It’s pretty easy to do.
If it is damaged, I’d open a ticket to support to see if they will replace it. If not, you can always replace it here.

I’ve found a few missing screws, and some that were tightened as if someone’s life depended on it. Nearly all of my AMS units have had screws so overtightened that they caused damage to the housing.
So, did they forget these screws? It’s highly possible.
