I have constructed and printed a kind of box for my sunglasses, with a hinge for opening and closing.
When closed, the box is very slightly bent.
I am quite sure that the hinges are alright - is there a tension in the object, and how can it be avoided?
Pictures for context would be good.
If you have a straight edge, that’s a good way to look for minor warping.

Yeah, Its pretty bent.
If it did not lift during printing. Did you remove it before it was fully cool? Hinges are also hard to get right, I am wondering if you had to force it a little bit to get it seated.

Warping happens even with good bed adhesion. It can be strong enough to lift the build plate from the heat bed. It is very difficult to spot.
My usual troubleshooting:
- Really dry filament, freshly cleaned build plate
- Warm build chamber (~35°C for PLA but, depending on printer, beware heat creep above this temp)
=> For PLA, that is usually enough
If issues persist, in any order or combined:
- Slow to 50%
- Reduce layer height to 50-75% (unfilled filaments only)

Lay a ruler across your bed with a light behind it. Move the ruler to several positions.
Does the gap match the curve in your parts?
If it does, the heat bed is warped, and the only real solution is a new bed. Submit a support ticket for a warranty replacement. They will probably want you to manually tram the bed, submit pictures and logs, and generally run you over jumps and through hoops for a week or two, but be persistent.
