Since v2.6 on ubuntu26 (I’m now at v2.7.0.55), all my imported objects are invisible in the build plate. I can select them at ‘process > objects’, they then show up in a transparent manner.
Could somebody give me a hint how I can get back to objects just visible when imported? And so as a default?
Thanks,
herrdeh
can you post a screenshot?
Good idea, here it comes:
Posting an empty desktop does not make so much sense, true?
The Millennium Falcon in stealth mode?
Are you running the Ubuntu .AppImage version, or Flatpack?
Perhaps check/update video drivers?
Does it show properly in Preview mode, after slicing? IIRC some folks were having the opposite issue, with the sliced version not showing up, which turned out to be an NVIDIA driver issue.

Thank you for your attention.
/1: AppImage
/2: My system updated to ubuntu26 quite recently, so there should be a quite up-to-date video driver; I’m using the “nouveau” type
/3: Yes, sliced view is alright; although I’m not certain if some time ago, there were more different colours.
/4: Indeed, it’s a Nvidia card.
Could now check it with AMD graphics card - no problem. So I guess it’s a bug.
I mentioned it HERE.
