One star review because "cannot print multiple"

I had many types of strange reviews, but this one is new to me … For sure you can clone my model as you like.
The untranslated review is “no puedes imprimir varios” … but i doubt it means something else.

frustrating i know, you used to be able to report them and get them removed but @BambuLab @MakerWorld seems to have abandoned us

The concept of rating isn’t working on MakerWorld anyway…

90% of bad reviews are people who have basic problems like bed adhesion from dirty build plates or other user errors. I guess they rate in app and aren’t even aware they are rating designers, and not giving feedback to Bambu, as they also never reply.

And the other 10% are people who don’t like the design.

I’m of the opinion that if I’m giving anything less than a 5 star review it needs to include constructive feedback on how to make it a 5. For example if they’ve applied fuzzy skin but not provided enough tolerance for parts to fit together.

And if it isn’t worthy of at least a 4 that is on me for not being more selective of what I choose to try printing and the settings I use. That means I don’t give 3 or lower. I’d rather provide a good print profile than a bad review.

Hi FlorinV.
Spanish native speaker here.
“no puedes imprimir varios” literally means “you can’t print many”.
Yes, I know, that don’t make any sense.

yes … i would expect a 1 star for something that doesn’t look like the presented model ( eg AI generated) or doesn’t do what is supposed to do.
Anyway … nobody died … it’s fine. I suppose I can report it, but for the moment I have 47 reviews with 5 stars, 1 with 3 stars (support issues) and this 1 star … I can survive.

The app and the star review there is really not needed and mostly does not go away after printing several other prints not downloaded from MW.
Most issues comes from the fact that if you make the A1 print profile and I download it to my P1 in most cases doesn’t print OK. Either bad bed adhesion or it messes up the colours from AMS, so the user needs to re-asign material type or colour - in case of multicolor even paint the colours on the model again. Then when user finally realises that it is too late and is frustrated in getting original settings back. User blames the creator of profile for this hence bad rewiew.
Maker world should have this sorted out. If I choose open in Bambu lab Slicer it should be just that open that file do not change any settings do not mess up AMS material settings etc
And give options to download with print profile to open in Bambu lab slicer and clear options for which printer profile exists and is possible to download or at least a warning you are downloading print profile for a1 and you have p1 printer…

I think this discussion appears more often, but in general I would prefer to rate either the model or the print profile. So for example, if a model is super great, but it is a pain to remove the support and you need special tools to do so, what should I rate? In today’s business I would have to give a low rating for print profile, but is this fair?

The real world is not fair. You have to assume everyone you address has a third grade reading level. Ebay is the same way. Sell a part for a Ford and someone will complain it doesn’t fit a Chevrolet. If you rely on being a Maker for a living, keep the descriptions simple and to the point. It’s just hard to get away from the riff-raff that just like to cause a problem for the fun of it.

yes… it’s not the end of the world … just needed to “talk” to somebody :rofl:
Cheers guys ! :beers:

well this is getting more and more frustrating each day, @makerworld finally responded to a ticket i made because they wouldnt do anything with direct reports… and basically told me to “kick rocks” on my 1 star ratings that had nothing to do with my actual print profile. Such as “bed adhesion” issues, or “broke my dogs tooth” on a tpu item i made that wasnt even hardened and I even have a disclaimer on as well as 103 other users had no issue with …again nothing to do with actual print quality and ZERO proof these people even printed my designs. @MakerWorld seems to really be pushing away the honest designers that want to support the site. Im tempted to just remove my items that they allow to be sabotaged with low abusive ratings.

This sounds like most of our experiences. @MakerWorld. Do something. Your designers want to love this site, but you don’t seem to. This needs to change. Reviews are broken. AI uploads are rampaging. Stolen models are unaffected. Profile uploading is outrageous. There’s no doubt other things too. Please, @MakerWorld. Fix this platform that we all want to enjoy.
